Friends Now and Then...

This past weekend Casey, Jill, Michelle, and I got together to celebrate Michelle's marriage to Jonathan and old times. It was so wonderful to catch up and laugh as though no time had passed since our last visit. I must say Emma very much enjoyed all the extra attention and snuggle time that she received. Thank you girls for remaining friends for so long. I thank the Lord for Clearwater Beach Summer Project and the circumstances that have kept us so close for the last ten years. Thank you for your continued friendship, love, and support. Many more years to come...

Little Emma playing and having fun while Jill visited this past weekend. She has finally started to play. It's so fun to watch her attempt to grab the toys on her bouncer and play gym. She growing and growing some more!!!!

Welcome

To catch everyone up...Emma arrived 4 weeks above schedule and was diagnosed with Congenital Pneumonia, RDS, Sepsis, and Hyperbilirubin. After quite a scare for all and over a week in Duke's NICU, Emma was discharged home. We are now 9 weeks removed from our rocky beginning and Emma is doing great! We are still small at 20 inches long and 9 lbs 5oz, but we are growing just the same. Today was Jeff's first day back at school so Emma and I are learning how to manage at home alone together. I'm sure that this road will hold many triumphs and failures, but we will push on just the same. Hopefully this blog will allow you to feel as though you are here with us and not missing a beat. We love you and thanks for following us.

Love,

Kelly & Emma Grace
